Zinc alloy Zamak #3 is the preferred alloy that is used in our zinc die-casting department.  This alloy is highly recommended for assemblies with critically dimensioned requirements that need to retain their high cosmetic appeal.  Zamak #3 also provides excellent castability, physical and mechanical properties and is recognized as a superior alloy for achieving consistent, high quality finishes after polishing and buffing.  Zamak 3 meets and exceeds all the performance requirements such as mechanical strength, impact strength, conductivity, dimensional accuracy and machinability.
