In 2006, Sunspring Metal Corporation acquired Gamco Products Company, located in Henderson Kentucky.  For over fifty years, Gamco Products was a trusted name and innovator of custom zinc die cast and chrome plated products for a major plumbing manufacturer.  Gamco was also a two-time international die casting competition winner of NADCA's prestigious Decorative Zinc Die Casting Award.

Today this facility has been renamed Sunspring America, Inc. and the tradition continues for innovative award winning zinc die-cast designs.  Sunspring America, Inc. is the heart of the North American Operations of its parent company, Sunspring Metal Corporation.  Founded in 1978, Sunspring Metal Corporation,  headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan, has facilities in China, Kentucky, North Carolina and Michigan. Sunspring is the world's largest consumer of zinc alloy Zamak #3 used to manufacture world-class quality kitchen & bath plumbing products, home improvement hardware, home electrical appliance components, communications equipment and automotive components.
